This was an attempt to generate foamed (and thus lightweight) concrete using ‘Great Stuff’ - a compressed foaming agent - mixed in with standard cement mix. The resulting compound material, sadly, wasn’t ‘great stuff’.

One Response to “Making a Material: Foamed Concrete (failed!)”
You don’t need the foam product you used to make foam cement. Mix an foaming agent (like dish soap) and blend till the air is traped in the cment slurry. Foam cement can be created this way, up to 90 % air in the non continuse phase.
